Come as you are. Our church family varies in how we dress.
From jeans to suits, we hope you’ll join us in a worship.
“If we clothe ourselves with humility, then no matter how we dress, we will honor and reflect Christ.”

On behalf of DS Lewis and DS Hitchcock, we would like to invite you and your church to a Listening Post in Lake County.  It is scheduled for
Sunday, April 21, 4:00 – 5:30 p.m. at Painesville UMC, which is located at 71 N Park Place, Painesville, 44077.  Parking is available behind the church (driveway from the square), or in the adjacent county lot (same driveway from the square, but take the path on the right, alongside the blue county building; there is a set of stairs up to the church).  Enter through the glass atrium doors on the east (driveway) side of the church.

All clergy, church leaders, and other church members are encouraged to come and share with the DSs how you are present in and reaching out to your communities.

To help you think about what might be discussed, consider the questions:

  • How are you loving your neighbor?
  • How are you inviting people to Christ and the church?
  • In what ways are you partnering with other UMCs or churches in your community?
  • How are you taking the Gospel to your community?
  • How can the district come alongside you in ministry?
  • What do you need from us?

Please share this with any leaders or church members that you think should attend.  We look forward to hearing from you!  Please send a quick RSVP email (NorthernWaters@eocumc.com) if you plan to attend to help us make arrangements.  If you cannot attend on 4/21, please choose an alternate date from the list below.

Questions?  Contact the district office (330-499-3972 ext. 204)
